Black Vortex
About Black Vortex
Dude, I know it's 11 PM but I literally cannot sleep. I just finished playing Black Vortex and my brain is still buzzing.
Remember how [Friend's Name] told me it was like, a fancy pool game? Like, "Oh, it's a cue sport, you hit balls into pockets, precision and strategy." Honestly, that description is like saying pizza is "bread with toppings." Technically true, but completely misses the point. It's so wrong it's almost funny.
Black Vortex is NOT pool. Not even close. It's like, a cosmic puzzle game mixed with a weird, beautiful horror movie? You're not on a table. You're in this... void. And those "balls"? They're not balls. They're like, glowing fragments of light, or maybe echoes of something, and the "pockets" are actual, swirling black holes, or mini-vortices. And your "cue stick"? It's not a stick, it's this beam of energy you use to kinda push and pull these fragments, guiding them into the right vortex.
The first time I played, I was so confused. Like, what is even happening? But then you get it. You figure out how the gravity works, how to bounce the fragments off the edges of the void to get them to curve just right. And the sound design? When a vortex *opens* and that deep hum starts, it's just so good. Really, really good.
I'm not usually into these super abstract games, but this one just hooked me. There was this one moment, I had this really tricky "striped" fragment that kept drifting away, and I finally got it to spiral into its vortex and it just *snapped* into place, and the whole void pulsed. It was so satisfying. I looked at the clock and like, two hours had just vanished.
And the "8-ball"? It's not a ball, it's the main, massive Black Vortex itself, and you have to get *all* the other fragments in first, then you have to like, seal it or something. It's intense.
Seriously, your gonna love it. It's weird, but in the best way. Like, it makes your brain work but it's not stressful, just... cool. I'm still thinking about how they made it all work. You gotta try it.
