About Rewind

OMG DUDE YOU HAVE TO PLAY REWIND

Dude. It's 11 PM and I literally just finished Rewind and I cannot sleep. My brain is still like, spinning. Remember how [Friend's Name] told me it was all about like, "mastering instant movement" and "dodging traps"? That description is SO wrong. It's like calling pizza "bread with toppings." Like, yeah, technically, but you're missing the whole point.

I started playing it earlier, like, just to kill an hour before dinner. And then suddenly it was midnight. I don't even know what happened. The first bit, I was kinda confused, because you *do* teleport, but it's not like, a quick dodge thing. It's more like... you see something happen, and then you hit the rewind button, and you can go back, but not just to fix a mistake. It's like you're going back to *understand* what happened.

Like, there was this one part, I kept dying trying to get past these lasers. And I was like, okay, gotta teleport faster. But then I noticed this little flicker, and I rewound, and I saw that the flicker was actually a door opening for like, half a second, but it was behind me. And I was like, WHAT. So I had to rewind, then not teleport past the lasers, but instead rewind to *before* the lasers even showed up, and then go through the door. It wasn't about speed, it was about *seeing* the whole picture.

It's not fast-paced at all, it's more like a really clever puzzle game but instead of moving blocks, your moving *time*. Your not just dodging, your like, figuring out the timeline of everything. And the sound design, man. When you rewind, there’s this little like, *whoosh* and then everything kinda shimmers and goes backwards. It just feels so good. Makes you feel like you're really doing something special, not just pressing a button.

Honestly, I usually get bored with puzzle games, but this one is different. It’s not boring at all. It makes your brain work in a way that’s like, super satisfying. I even caught myself thinking about it at work today, like, "Oh, if I could just rewind this email..." lol. Seriously, you gotta play it. It's just so much more than what they said. It's really, really good. I'm telling everyone I know. Don't go in expecting a fast action game though. Expect to be surprised.
