Because I played it tonight, and guess what? You're not the cop. You're the FUGITIVE. You're the one being hunted! Like, the whole time I was playing, I kept thinking, "Wait, I'm the bad guy here?" And then it clicked. That's what makes it so good.
My first time, I was just trying to drive fast, right? Like a normal racing game. But then the sirens started getting closer, and I realized they were chasing *me*. And suddenly, it wasn't about speed anymore. It was about *evasion*. It was about being sneaky. I was trying to duck into alleys, turn off my headlights, hide behind buildings. It's like, a car chase, but it's also a puzzle. Your trying to outsmart them, not just outrun them.
Honestly, I'm not usually into these types of games, but this was different. The sound design is really good too. Like, when the cop cars are closing in, you hear their engines revving and their radios crackling, and it just makes your heart pound. I played way longer than I meant to. I looked at the clock and it was like, 2 AM. Oops.
It's like, if you took a stealth game and put it in a car, but way more intense. I figured out that if you manage to get into a really tight spot, like a construction zone or something, and just stay still for a bit, they sometimes just drive right past you! It feels so clever when you pull it off.
