Dude, you up? It's like 11 PM but I literally cannot sleep. My brain is still buzzing from that game, Block Fusion City. You know, the one Mark told us was "a relaxing isometric puzzle game where you place and combine buildings to evolve them into bigger structures. Strategically plan your moves, score high, and avoid running out of space!"
Honestly, that description is so wrong it's almost funny. It's like calling pizza "baked dough with stuff on it." Like, technically true but it misses everything that makes pizza, *pizza*.
When I first started playing, I was like, "Okay, whatever." I thought it would be boring, just putting blocks down. But then, you start putting them together, and they *poof* into something new, and there's this little sound, like a happy little *ding*, and it just feels so good. And then you get a bunch of them, and the whole board just *clears* in a wave of like, satisfying clicks and flashes. It’s not relaxing at all, man, it's like a weird, intense, super satisfying race against yourself.
I don't usually like puzzle games, they feel too slow or too much like homework. But this? This is different. Your not just placing blocks, your like, *sculpting* a city that's constantly growing and changing. And it's fast! You have to think quick but also plan ahead, which is a weird combo but it just works. I kept telling myself "just one more turn" and then looked up and it was like, two hours later. I swear I saw the sun thinking about a combo earlier today at work.
