Dude, you gotta hear about this game. I literally just finished playing Orbital Odyssey: Spiral Labyrinth and I cannot sleep. It’s 11 PM and my brain is still buzzing from it.
Remember how that one guy told me it was just "Target the same color ball and smash the same color ball. Your goal is to match 3 or more marbles of the same color to destroy them and earn points. Prevent the marbles from reaching the end or youll lose a life."? Like, technically true, but that's like describing pizza as "bread with toppings." It completely misses the *vibe* of it, you know?
When I first started, I was like, "okay, whatever, another match-3." But then... man. It's not just about matching. The way the marbles move, it's not a straight line, it's like, a spiral, and they just keep coming. And the sound when you get a massive combo? So satisfying, like little space fireworks going off in your ears. I don't usually like these puzzle games, they get boring fast. But this one... it does something different.
There was this one time, I was totally about to lose, like the marbles were *right there* at the end. And I just, like, threw a ball randomly, hoping for the best. And it hit this one spot, cleared a bunch, then another, and another, and it was this crazy chain reaction that cleared almost the whole board. I literally gasped out loud. My cat looked at me weird. Your just so focused.
I kept saying "one more round" and then suddenly it was two hours later. It’s like, you know those old arcade games where you just get into a zone? Maybe it’s the music, or the way the stages look, kinda glowy and weird.
